You can get Digital Images from a camera or scanner.  But, what do you do once you have them?  This training gives editing techniques and curricular activities using Digital Images. Training sessions use Adobe Photoshop Elements and Tech4Learning's Image Blender.  Advanced sessions may also use Tech4Learning's VideoBlender and Apple QuickTime.

Digital Imaging Training for Educators

  • Using Adobe® Photoshop Elements®, including an introduction to layers and creating curricular projects - 1 Day

  • Using Tech4Learning® ImageBlender, including modifying images for use on web pages or in PowerPoint presentations - 1/2 Day

  • Creating movies from still photographs using Tech4Learning® VideoBlender or Apple® QuickTime, including creating virtual tours - 1/2 Day

 Digital Imaging Curricular project:

An example of a Digital Imaging project would be to have student create a "Field Guide" for a topic in their class.  If students were studying trees, they could take pictures of different trees on the school property or in a local park.  The images could be organized and give the name of the tree. A "field guide" could be created for almost any topic your students are studying.
